Juventus step up Mauro Icardi chase, Sergej Milinkovic-Savic could join Inter and PSG enter Paulo Dybala race ahead of Serie A transfer deadline
- Three of Serie A’s most high-profile players could be on the move
- Mauro Icardi’s future is in doubt following Inter’s signing of Romelu Lukaku
- Inter could continue their big spending with a bid for Sergej Milinkovic-Savic
- After a move to Spurs fell through, PSG could be the next stop for Paulo Dybala
Juventus are set to step up their bid to sign Inter Milan’s Mauro Icardi, while Sergej Milinkovic-Savic and Paulo Dybala could also be on the move before the Serie A transfer deadline, according to reports in Italy.
Icardi’s future at Inter appears in serious doubt following the Nerazzurri’s £73 million signing of striker Romelu Lukaku from Manchester United.
According to Tuttosport, Icardi has accepted that he will have to leave Inter if he is to play first team football this season, after falling out of favour following a series of incidents last season.

The striker is reportedly Juventus’ primary transfer target ahead of the September 2 deadline
Icardi was stripped of the club captaincy last term after his wife and agent, Wanda Nara, publicly lobbied for him to be given a new contract, despite a seven-game barren streak in front of goal.
But his struggles on and off the pitch haven’t put off Juve, with the Italian publication claiming the Serie A champions will bid for the player before the transfer deadline on September 2.
Another player who could be on the move is Lazio midfielder Milinkovic-Savic, who was strongly linked with a move to Manchester United earlier this summer.

The 24-year-old’s reputation continues to grow after winning the Coppa Italia with Lazio
The 24-year-old has emerged as one of Europe’s finest midfielders in the four years since he joined the club from Genk, and Tuttosport have reported that he is at the top of Inter’s wishlist.
However, Antonio Conte could face an uphill battle to land the in-demand Serbia international, with Lazio refusing to entertain the prospect of selling their star man, whose contract runs until 2023.
Last week, Dybala looked set for a move to the Premier League, but potential deals with Manchester United and Tottenham fell through over his wage demands.
The Argentine’s substantial pay packet hasn’t put off PSG, however, who are now reportedly favourites to secure his signature as they prepare to offload Neymar to Real Madrid or Barcelona.
