Crystal Palace and Burnley are said to be ready to offer Lundstram the chance of staying in the Premier League should he decide to leave once the window reopens.
Steven Gerrard is also reportedly interested in bringing the midfielder to Rangers, with the Liverpool legend also looking at free agent Jack Wilshere to help plug a hole in the middle of the park.
Should Lundstram fail to reach an agreement over a new deal before the new year, he will be able to discuss moves to foreign club from then on.
