Manchester United revive talks for Atalanta’s 18-year-old winger Amad Traore as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer looks to bolster side with just hours to go until the transfer window slams shut
Manchester United are reviving talks for Atalanta’s 18-year-old winger Amad Traore with the transfer window deadline looming.
The youngster made his debut for the Serie A side last season and was part of the club’s squad for their Champions League quarter-final clash against Paris Saint-Germain.
United have been linked with a move for Traore this summer and have now re-opened negotiations.

Traore, who has played just 30 minutes of Serie A football, was close to sealing a move to Parma but the switch has failed to materialise.
If United were able to tie him down to a deal the teenager would require a work permit in order for the transfer to go through.
The Red Devils have endured a frustrating summer with midfielder Donny van de Beek their only addition so far in a £40million deal.

It’s no secret that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has been keen to add new faces as he continues his Old Trafford rebuild.
United’s priority target all summer has been Borussia Dortmund star Jadon Sancho but they are yet to stump up the Bundesliga side’s £108million asking price.
Ousmane Dembele’s proposed move to Manchester United has also stalled with Barcelona wanting to insert an obligation to buy at the end of any loan deal.
